Spacious cabins to suit you

With some of the largest standard cabins at sea, Saga Sapphire's spacious cabins are your own private haven to enjoy. Wherever in the world you happen to be.

Relax into a new pace of life>

From getting pampered in the serene Aqua Spa to immersing yourself in the latest bestseller in the library, you'll find there's a place, and a space, for doing all the things you want to. Even if that thing happens to be 'nothing much at all'.

Explore Ashore

As well as a packed programme of on-board events, our Explore Ashore concierge team are also on hand, helping you hone your itinerary to get the best from each one.

Fine Dining

A taste of perfection

Cruising on our gem, Saga Sapphire, is like having reservations at the best restaurant in town, each and every night.

However you want to dine is always up to you. Choose from the main Pole to Pole or alternative Verandah restaurant. Enjoy the freedom of open seating, or book a 'fixed' table throughout your cruise. Look forward to free speciality dining in East to West, not to mention other mouthwatering options, such as fish and chips in the Beach Club and an exclusive room service menu.

It's little wonder Saga Sapphire was recently recognised as 'Best for Small Ship Dining' at the prestigious Cruise Critic awards.

Plus, all 2018 cruises are now all inclusive, so you can enjoy drinks from the bars and in all the on-board restaurants, at no extra cost.

Pole to Pole

Award-winning dining at sea

Pole to Pole, the main 620-seater restaurant, is a large space, but still retains an intimate atmosphere. This is thanks to its 'zones' - each styled to reflect a different continent. Dine in Africa, Asia, Europe or the Americas. Dotted with antiques and curios, it's a sophisticated space to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, all expertly served by own team of friendly waiters. The majority of tables are open seating, but if your prefer a fixed-seating table, there are a number of these available.

East to West

Offering a taste of the Orient

For something a little different, reserve your table at East to West, the ship's 64-seater speciality restaurant - for no extra charge!

Here, experience a taste of Asia as waiters serve up the best Oriental flavours in a medley of Asian-influenced dishes. Make sure you book in advance as its popularity ensures a full house on most nights!

Verandah

Easygoing dining, day and night

If you're looking for a more casual dining experience, look no further than the Verandah and Grill.

Here you can pop in for a continental breakfast, buffet-style lunch, or waiter-served dinner prepared as you watch in the fabulous open kitchen. Seating 100 guests inside and a further 100 on the alfresco verandah, this informal venue offers delicious meals that are light, healthy and fuss-free.

Relax Onboard

Despite being a smaller ship, Saga Sapphire still has many spacious areas where you can relax, and enjoy a little 'me time' during your cruise.

From the bars to the Britannia Lounge with its panoramic views, and the cosy Drawing Room - a library and coffee shop in one - it's easy to find your favourite place to call your own.

Serene spaces on Saga Sapphire

Full of quirky features, take a look around the spacious public areas of our award-winning boutique hotel at sea.

Aviator Lounge

The Aviator Lounge is located midship and offers striking themed decor dedicated to the heroes of our skies. Relax with a cocktail in our stylish Aviator Lounge.

Cooper's Bar

Unwind with friends in Cooper's Bar, styled as a tribute to the wit of comedian Tommy Cooper, with fez shaped lampshades and lots of quirky touches in keeping with the ship's fun style. Plus, you'll be taken on a trip down memory lane to the classic humour of yesteryear with our picture gallery.

Britannia Lounge

During the day the Britannia Lounge is the venue for dance classes, quizzes, music recitals and much more. And although, she's every inch a modern ship, Saga Sapphire still retains the finest of cruising traditions - the lounge hosts a tempting afternoon tea each day. But it's as the sun sets that this area is transformed, as singers, instrumentalists and the ship's own resident theatre company take to the stage for dazzling evening entertainment.

Drawing Room

If you're looking to put your feet up for some real 'me time' surrounded by all your home comforts, then head up to the spacious Drawing Room. With plush seating and a larder stocked with homemade treats, you can sit back and watch the ever-changing views from the triple-aspect windows.

Beach Club

Visit The Beach Club, where you'll find beach huts and a decidedly British seaside vibe - the perfect place to soak up the sun. Take a splash in the large outdoor pool, or grab an ice cream, a handful of sweets or enjoy a gourmet spin on the classic British dish, fish and chips.

Saga Sapphire Aqua Spa

Enjoy a spot of pampering

For moments of pure indulgence, visit the luxurious Aqua Spa. Here you can take a dip in the pool, soak in the hot tub. It features state-of-the art:

  • Treatment rooms
  • Steam rooms
  • Sauna
  • Heated pool

It's a refreshing oasis of pampering and indulgence with different treatments available:

  • Body wraps
  • Manicures
  • Hairdressing
  • For the ultimate treat - enjoy a massage of facial from Decleor, the world's leading aromatherapy skincare brand.

View from the Top

For the best views at sea, head for the View from the Top on deck 12.

The highest point of the ship, here you can relax and soak up the sun, then later, enjoy late-night walks in the fresh air around the promenade.
